Soul Mate

Soul Mate

A Poem by Mark
"

Nothing lasts

"
You are the bright little star
That Allowed my laughter and the ability to sing.
Dazzled, I orbited in hope of becoming the best me.

Like everything beautiful you were destined for the coffin.
Lying softly in clouds of satin. The artistry of the under taker creating a wanted illusion where the Ravaging had taken you.

Allowing a heart to dare, brings pain.
Not allowing, denies the Joy.

It was sad but those little moments are worth remembering

Though we lose, we loved.
Though we cry, we laughed.
Though we die, we lived.
Continue to put yourself out there. There are millions of little, bright stars in the sky.

My pleasure
Sigh... every loss diminishes us and leaves us to deal with it then (and through to our now) as only we can.

some of those we love are gone too soon, due to disease or tragedy...but just to have been able to know them and spend time with them does bring a joy that makes pain a bit easier to digest.
beautifully sad poem, Mark.
