When so many other relationships have failed, you question if at least one is real.

The battle has just begun. 
It is the one I have with myself. 
Where love is all you hope for
You find it and question it.

Is this not what you so wanted and deserved?

Makes you think?

So what is wrong with you?

Obviously you are going about this all wrong. 

He loves you.

Not just for your body
Your beauty
Your curves
But for your intelligence
Your caress
Your success
Your ability to stay calm through the storm.

He treasures your opinion

He wants to make you his Mrs.
You deny this, not to him
But to yourself.

End the stupid thoughts of pain
From previous mistakes
Take matters into your hands
Let go of yourself
Allow yourself to unselfishly- love.
                                                   
Is that too much to ask for?

You have a beautiful mind and I love the words that come out of that mind for us to read. "End the stupid thoughts of pain from previous relationships." There is so much truth in that statement. Yes. When something goes too well, you start to question it. Nothing is wrong but yet you sense that something can go wrong. Therefore, your wall is still up and its hard to determine if you should bring your wall down or keep it up.

This is a great pep talk. And EVERYTHING you say is true. People shy away because of the fear of pain....and that is sad. I do think that going S-L-O-W is important though too. Dont rush!
