Felt Like Home

Felt Like Home

A Poem by Chemical Kitten
"

This has been a bad night.

"

Your arms are meant to keep me warm
But I can't feel you here anymore
I can't see where you've gone
Though all the tears cascading

Your heart felt like home to me
But now I think I'm suffocating
In such an empty room
Where has all our colors gone?

I just need you by my side
And I know you'd find a way
If you really wanted to
I'm starting to wonder if you do

Very nice little poem, and a wonderful universal theme. Your word choices are very good. The first two lines really grabbed me, especially the second. I'd love to see this expanded, even. :)

Line 8 "has" should be "have", or alternatively, "colors" should maybe be "air"?

Good work!
