That will never happen to me
I said and a tear escaped my eye.

I thought about all the good things
But only the negatives come out
Do i only see black
I thought i could see a wide range of colors

My thoughts are all a mess
More then this it can't be
I wanna be happy once again
And laugh with you
But it may not be possible

Even now that you may be far away
I still sometimes think about you
But don't misunderstand
It's not you i think about
It's the memories.

I see happy couples
And i ask myself if i will ever be that happy someday
I keep on going in my own road
And this thought don't leave me alone
It seems like they have taken over me

Free to think of new things,
More good things.

It's always hard to move on from a broken romance. And just reflect and think of the golden times together. And to never think the sun will shine around you ever again. But little by little it does. It just takes time to heal from a broken heart.
