Next stop ?

Next stop to where? Where to in life? Next destination?

I bought a ticket to some place far away

Far away from here

Far away to some place i don't know

To a place full of wonder,of magic.

Do you know that place?

The place where you want a new beginning 

A place where you expect bigger things,greater things.

It doesn't matter where as long as you go there.

To that place, that place where your mind is at pace.

As i breathe out and i look into the sky

I feel fresh and relaxed.

Im happy and full with new energy.

Ready to go there where my own legs will take me.

As long as im away from the place im born in or the place

im stuck in.

It doesn't matter , does it?..

So where to?

Which is the new destination life will take me?

Next stop to where?

Next stop: THE TOP.

This was my approach to life. I could never stay put for very long & this is a big reason why I never married or had kids. I will never regret approaching life as you describe in your poem. It doesn't have to be a big wave of wanderlust . . . it can be this way, even within the constraints of most people's everyday commitments. It's just having that open mind for the possibilities . . . being willing to try a new approach or a new friend or a new something you never imagined. This really surprised me. No marriage no kids. Wow . What was the reason for that?

There are many reasons for those big decisions. It would take an essay to explain it all. Early in life, the reasons looked like one thing, then as life goes one, the reasons change & look very different. In the end, not getting married & having kids was the best decision I made in my life, even tho it just "kinda happened"! *smile*

I have 8 older siblings, some as much as 18 years older than me, so I saw their lives unfold with bad marriages & multiple divorces & single parenting, etc. This had a big influence on me not wanting to "go there"! *smile*

That's so brave of you. I look up to you for being this strong and making the best decision in your life. Life isn't all about having kids or a partner. But more of a finding yourself journey.
