The big teal eyes of a wondering cat,

Lines of a pen twisting into a tree

and polka dotted flowers.

Gondolas without gondoliers

on the water canals of Venice,

and olden houses lined

with pink and yellow flowers.

With a pencil, pen, paint, or pastel

she will recreate an image

or a place. But never a person,

never a face.

Very nice. I like the way it ends. I think the poem came out fine Alyssa. I love the last 2 lines. Great job!

Thank you Legolas :)
I do not see how you aren't pleased by this. This is a wonderful piece of poetry, I could not have written it better myself. Especially the ending, I love that part the most.

By the sea, in a land called Honah Lee

Alm is short for Alyssa Marie. I'm sixteen now, I don't claim to write well. I'm sorry if I review bad. Sometimes I bake snickerdoodles, the smell of cinnamon and vanilla on my fingertips lingers... more..
