One heart breaks to a thousand parts.

This is where where my madness grins.

I'll show what you do ignore.

Fire flashes in my eyes,

Finally, I break your lies.

This night!

One fight!

The only thing standing in the way of happiness is you.

One more!

For sure!

Finally I have you right where I can knock you down.

And this is one stand,

Black sand,

You will never understand.

Forge the victims,

Dodge the lies,

It's time you pay for all your crimes.

This is how the leaders fall;

All alone, after all...

Nothing is in front of me!

Only visions of what we can be!

Never frightened, never bend,

This is where my sorrows end!

All along, you played your game,

Driving me again insane!

What this is, is broken love,

Caused by what you're frightened of!

This is where we are, alright;

I've forsaken all my fright.

Your lies have made it far too hard to fight,

But now it's just you and me tonight!

Call again, forget you said,

Just keep wishing that you were dead.

Nothing stops, I'm coming still,

Your lifeline fades down to nil.

Blackened prose of silly lies,

Nothing giving when you realize

That there's nothing you can do

Because I've had time to think it through.

Get ready for the moment, get ready for the end.

Forced that smile for so long, now you see my true grin.

This is how forever starts, not just with a broken heart,

But with one dead man down on the floor; broken love forevermore.

This is how all fakers fall;

All alone, after all...

Nothing is in front of me!

This is where my sorrows end!

Because now it's my turn to pick what's right!

Author's Note

This is a rough draft that had a skimmed-over proofread, so I expect some errors and feel free to point them out. Also, as with all my poems, I've written this as a song in my head, so when I read it, I have it going along with my own rhythm, tempo, and background, so I doubt we read it the same way. I personally envision it as a hard rock song. How you take it is how you decide, and I hope you enjoy!
