Fallen

Fallen

A Poem by Iron K. Tager
"

Tumbling down tumbling down tumbling down~

"

Tripped on my way home

Fell into a bio-dome

Hit my head on the way down

Forgot how to swim, about to drown.

Saw her face flashing by

If not saved, soon I’ll die.

How’s this hand of mine?

Not helping and on the belt-line?

I was drowned before I breathed

So once I’m back, why not relieved?

Oh if only I could say

Sorry for this frantic way

My lungs are gulping water,

Sorry, but my mind’s in totter.

It is soon to sink down

Beside me as I drown.

Remembered her touch, though faint,

Gained the power to right then paint

My way up and out of it all,

Hopefully ready the next time I fall.
