Seen as what we pretend to be
Hated for what we truly are
Not accepted as the real us
We pretend to be anything they love
So we can feel like we're loved
Loved by the people who don't see us as
People who see us as whatever we pretend to be
Just for them we put on a show
Just to be accepted
These "friends"
Don't love us for us
They love us for whatever we force ourselves to be
Whatever show we put on
Well if thats what they want from me
Change the channel
Because I'm all me
No matter what they say
No matter what they think
