Your Place of Contenment

Your Place of Contenment

A Poem by Ivy Smiley

Please review and tell me what you think! Hope you enjoy!

Drape yourself in gold,
comb yourself in silver,
find yourself on the very end of the un-treasured river,

drink upon the black,
eat upon the grey,
taste the things that stink the untold layers today,

Breathe inside the yellow,
soak inside the orange,
find yourself in a place that is controlled,
but compel yourself to forget the things that you've been told here today.

I'm a writer/novelist in fiction. I'm not normally one to write fan-fiction. I'm one to write about worlds and people who live in situations they're in. It's just my style of writing. Unique is one wa.. more..
