That Night

That Night

A Poem by J*Stunt
"

About a girl trying to find life and taking everything in but trying to filter out what happens in this life.

"
I can see the music float through this night
Like a cover of love that will hold even the faintest thought
The silence held like a lonely mother holding her child
Though she fights for a feeling of anything if even mild
Everything ever said has fallen to my side
Sometimes I would rather have just believed their lies
All given lessons to be learned but fell short for it all
Will I always hate what was once or leave it beneath where I left it to fall
As once or many did I hear her say to me live like its all yours
There I sat taking in life to make it apart of what never dies
I'll let this night end before it ends me in a lost hope
And I'll let the hours pass as this night lives as I fall and the music floats

This is pretty. It caught me from the first line all the way down like an enjoyable slide. The imagrey is beautiful and creates a picture in the reader's head of epiphany through the consoling of encouraging melodies.

Though, "quiets" kind of stuck out to me. I tried to read it differently, but it just doesn't fit. Oh well, keep it if you want.

I liked this and the words mixed together to make this a VERY enjoyable read. I complement you dearly for sharing this.
