It was a snowy, barren night out in the middle of the Salem cemetery. Two unknown aliases were discussing something that felt suspicious. One of them with snowy blue hair and a stark expression on his face, sent out to travel to other parts of the country executed the plan. The hooded figure smirked and disappeared in a flash, while the other punched his icy fist into the ground, turning the snow into ice. One week later in San Francisco, two brothers, one with brown hair, brown eyes, and a charming personality and one with black hair, an intelligent expression and sea-blue eyes named Jason and Atlas Wickstrom were watching an MMA fight at an underground arena. “This is badass!” Jason said. “Totally!” replied Atlas. As the fight ended, they went to the bar and drank a few scotches, enjoying a Friday afternoon. Suddenly, the news seized their attention. “Breaking News! Cities across the country are being frozen in ice and snow and there is yet no explanation on this sudden phenomenon.” Exclaimed the news anchor. “Snow? That’s impossible for this time of year!” Atlas said. “Still, you realize that it’s unusual for this kind of weather to appear.” Jason told him. As they both walked out of the bar and back home, muggers appeared from left to right. “Oh, come on.” Jason said. “Empty your pockets… now!” they shouted. Jason and Atlas fought them together until… the muggers got them surrounded, and Jason and Atlas blasted fire and water at them. “Holy s**t!” Shouted one mugger. Then the muggers began running in different directions after what happened to them. “What the hell was that?” They both questioned. “I don’t know, but we should tell mom about this.” Atlas said. Later, the mysterious person appeared in a small town in Ohio with his frigid hands of malevolence ready to ignite. As soon as he decimated sections of the town, he was about to freeze the city. One person cried out, “Who are you?” The mysterious person said nothing and boom! He froze him and the entire state in a flurry of ice. Later, Jason and Atlas arrived at their mother Naomie’s house to explain everything that happened. “Mom, you would not believe what just happened to us!” They both said.“It’s time I tell you the truth about who you are.” their mother replied. “You were both granted the elemental powers of fire and water at birth. Atlas, your water powers given upon by me, and Jason, your fire powers from your father.” “So, how do we learn how to control them?” Atlas replied. “Go to the San Francisco Institute and find Aaron. He is an instructor that can teach you to control your powers and use them for the benefit of humanity. As they drove towards the institute, a shadowy figure was standing in the middle of the street and unleashed a powerful blast of dark energy straight at the car. When they departed from the damaged car, their mother’s face was bleeding from the damage when the car crashed. “Come on, there's no time to lose, we have to keep going no matter what it takes.” she exclaimed as they were running towards the institute. “Who was that guy?” Jason asked. “I don’t know, but we better keep on moving before he tries to kill us.” Atlas replied. Finally, after all the tremendous running, they reached the institute when all of a sudden, the mysterious shadow appeared right in front of them. “Don’t worry, I’ll take it from here.” She told them. As the mysterious shadow attacked them, she created a barrier out of water to protect them. “Get out of here!” “Go!” Their mother cried out. As Naomie was doing the best she could to defend herself against the shadow, the shadow pulled out an ominous double scythe and stabbed her through the heart. “No!” Jason screamed. “Come on, before it’s too late!” Atlas said. When they opened the doors of the institute, a new journey was about to begin. “Wow, this place is sophisticated.” complimented Jason. “How are we going to find him in a place like this?” Questioned Atlas. As they both roamed around the institute like rats in a maze, Jason approached a room inscribed Surveillance Room. Hey Atlas, I assume this room might lead us to Aaron. Jason said curiously. “Only one way to find out.” Atlas said in a confident voice. They both entered the room and found a tall, elderly man with silvery hair, forest eyes, and a grey jacket. They had finally found Aaron. “Welcome Jason, Atlas. Aaron said. “I’ve been expecting you for a long time.” “What exactly are you saying?” Questioned Atlas. “I watched over you for 21 years, that is until you found out about your powers.” Aaron told them. “Who was that person that attacked us and killed our mom,” followed up by Jason. “That was Salem, a powerful entity on the verge of chaos and power, trying to start a war on mankind.” “Come, there are two people that I’d like you to meet.” “Throughout history, an extremely rare percentage of humans possess abilities that others cannot achieve, these powers gained through adolescence and birth, sporadically unlocked at random occurrences during any given moment.” As they walked throughout the institute, Aaron magically summoned his staff, tapped it against a wall and he created a wreath onto the wall. “As you can tell, I have the power to control the essence of nature, Aaron said. Then they approached a high tech room that looked futuristic in some sense and standing there were two people, a girl with long, brown hair and an elegant appearance, and a boy strong enough to punch a wall. “This is Cassidy Amberwood, also known as “Killer Cupid,” she can manipulate air,” Aaron explained. “And this is Issac Troffman, he can manipulate earth and other minerals,” he also explained. “I’m guessing you are the recruits then?” assumed Cassidy. “Training starts tomorrow, so here are your room numbers and GET MOVING!” Issac told them. Meanwhile, Jason and Atlas found their rooms and Atlas said, “Well, we’re not roommates.” “Yeah, I sure hope they’re comfortable,” Jason replied. As Jason opened the door, his room had a king-sized bed with an HD TV, alarm clock, and a clothes drawer filled with an ample amount of clothes. Later that night, the mysterious person arrived near California and began using his ice powers to reach The Golden State. During the morning, Jason rose up and headed towards the training room feeling exhausted after getting up. He noticed that Atlas, Cassidy, and Issac already arrived there earlier, training. “About time you showed up,” Issac said. “Let’s begin.” First, they started hand-to-hand combat training, Atlas’s opponent was Issac, and Jason’s opponent was Cassidy. “Seriously?” Jason scoffed. “Oh, so that’s how it is,” she asked angrily. “First rule of combat, never underestimate your opponent no matter who or what they are,” she explained. She then swept his leg and he fell onto the floor. “Well played,” he complimented. The second rule of combat, your powers are a tool to help you fight,” she said. Jason’s fists, covered in flames began to strike her while Cassidy tried avoiding them. Meanwhile, as Atlas and Isaac were fighting, Isaac’s arm turned into rocks and pounded him. “Come on, is that all you got,” he asked. Atlas stood up and blasted him with water, causing Isaac being pinned against the wall. After that, Jason and Cassidy continued fighting as they almost fatigued trying to pin the other. Then, she leaped on-air and punched Jason without him noticing. He stayed resilient and commenced shooting a barrage of fireballs at her, but Cassidy deflected them one after the other and walked up to him. “Oh, Jason, you still have much to learn.” Cassidy said. “Oh, God!” Jason said as he submitted to defeat. She then punched him in the face with a blast of air. He then woke up in his room feeling miserable about losing to a girl, Atlas then arrived in his room to comfort him on his loss. “Hey man, you feel okay?” Atlas wondered. “Yeah, I’m good, it’s just that I think I need to work on my training tactics to beat Cassidy cause she’s a formidable opponent.” Jason replied to Atlas. Well, good luck, and I hope you get well.”Atlas remedied.” Jason strolled down the corridors of the institute and found the library, he opened the door and roamed around looking for books that would assist him to improve his powers and battle tactics. One of the books he picked up called “The Book of Vetruvian” was about channeling the body and powers so they would work as one. Another book he picked called “Claus’s Inception, was a battle strategist's guide towards victory. Finally, the last book was about the basis of pyrokinesis and it’s multiple capabilities. He studied all night in his room practicing until he could master it. The next week at the training room, Jason was filled with anticipation that he was ready for his rematch with Cassidy. “Hey Cassidy, are you ready for a rematch? Jason asked. “Sure, I’m ready to kick your a*s twice if that’s what you’re saying.” Cassidy replied. The two circled each other like a cowboy draw, waiting for the right moment to attack. Jason made the first move with a flaming fist and Cassidy responded by blocking it with a whirlwind kick to the chest. Jason then shot the flames out of the palms of his hands and made a circle around Cassidy and then lifted the scorching circle so she couldn’t escape. “Impressive, I see you’ve smartened up since our last fight.” Cassidy complimented.” Well, I did learn from the best.” Jason replied.” Cassidy moved her arms in a tornado-like manner to blow the barrier away. They threw all they had at each other punch after punch, kick after kick until suddenly, Jason began to harness his powers with his body that his entire body was covered in flames and threw one last blast of fire while she tried to defend herself by creating tornadoes with both of her hands. While the smoke cleared Jason was still standing and Cassidy was on the ground. He stood victorious and helped her off the floor after an amazing battle. “Not bad Wickstrom, not bad.” Cassidy credited. “Come, there’s something that I want you to see.” she said. Cassidy took Jason to her room and showed him around. “You see, one of the most valuable accouterments a fighter can have is a weapon, and one chooses a weapon based on their skills and powers. Some of our powers are too strong so we imbue them in weapons to control them. For me, I went with a crossbow and a harpoon because they’re both long-range weapons and I have excellent accuracy.” She explained. “So where can I get my weapon?” Jason asked. “Easy, there's weaponry down by the training room, it will have all the weapons one could ask for.” Cassidy replied. “All right then.” Jason said.

As they exited the institute, they noticed the city covered in deep layers of ice and snow like they were living in a giant snow globe. “What the hell happened here?” Isaac wondered. “I don’t know, but I think I know why.” Atlas said. A misty silhouette walked towards them, and it was a guy about the same age as them. “Who are you?” Jason questioned him as he lit his hands on fire. The mysterious person chuckled as he knew that Jason was an amateur. “I’m Lance Caspar. “Why are you doing this?” Jason asked. “To make a living hell!” he replied. Lance then shot a blast of ice at Jason, but he blocked it by blasting it with fire. Cassidy then shot an arrow at Lance in the arm, and Isaac sucker punched him, they began pulling punches from left to right, but he got back up and froze Isaac’s legs so he couldn’t move. Then, he took the arrow out of his arm and used his powers to heal the wound. “All right Cassidy, what’s the plan?” Jason asked. “We got to take him out so we can end this madness.” “Ok, but how?” he asked again. Don’t worry, you distract him and I’ll fire these special arrows at them, got it? While she finished talking, she noticed Jason was back in the fight. Meanwhile, Atlas and Lance were fighting head on, then Lance smacked him until Atlas blasted a jet of water at Lance, but he froze it with the palm of his hand and punched it. Then he used the remains to shoot shards of ice at him. As the shards of ice came at him, there was a blast of fire that came from Jason and he fought Lance according to Cassidy’s plan. They looked equally matched until Cassidy shot several arrows at Lance that burned deep inside his skin. He then noticed Cassidy was the one who shot the arrows, so he blasted ice at her shoulders so she wouldn’t use her crossbow. Jason then blasted a huge amount of fire at Lance and he countered it with a huge blast of ice back at Lance. Once their powers collided, a cloud of steam covered the battleground and Lance vanished like a ghost in the wind.

I believe each speaking part needs to be separated into it's own paragraph. For example.
“This is badass!” Jason said.
“Totally!” replied Atlas.
