my unfinished life

my unfinished life

A Poem by Justin J. Sales

I want to shout out:

purge my inefficiency

speak, but still be listening.

learn enough to teach a son

to a fault:

avoiding sometimes my daily dues

and shirking your rightfully imposed assignments.

What is the reason for these shenanigans?

The customary counsel:

Life is just beginning.

one must be humbled

prior to achieving acumen.

Consider this rehearsal.

Trial and error.

but your inacuteness may still compute.

What will THEY  determine in the end?

I liked this the line that stands out for me is "learn enough to teach a son" I do not know if you are a parent. No one gets a life time rehearsal. And as parents we do make mistakes. that is how we grow. I'm sure that Learn enough to teach a son line has been said down through the ages. As long as the Son of which you speak is loved valued ans secure im sure that the parents of which your peice speaks will have learnt 3 valuable lessons. Love . Value . and Security Well done Sir.
