Unblinded

Unblinded

A Poem by J Todd Underhill

"

Now unleash your mind to be free,

Show the world that you’re awake,

Oppressors to know what you see.

Wicked control society,

Turn off the news that is so fake;

Now unleash your mind to be free.

Now on this fact we can agree,

And the politicians will shake.

Oppressors to know what you see.

Truth perception to some degree,

Don’t live a blind man’s mistake.

Now unleash your mind to be free.

Hell on earth or Purgatory,

Beware of the smooth talking snake.

Oppressors to know what you see.

Do not live your life absentee,

Stand up to those that only take,

Now unleash your mind to be free,

Oppressors to know what you see.

I hear the sounds, ("A nice beat and you can dance to it"). The old labelmaker, my pet name for the tame gray jello I transport on my rounds free gratis, is stymied for a brand to stamp on these notes. "Eine Kleine Nachtmusic"? "Rockabilly? Somewhere twixt and tween.
Ahh, got it fixed and appropriately labeled: Barricade Music. The sound track to Delacroix's "Liberty Leading the People." Well good luck with that. Try getting around the almighty chorus of "Baa, Baa, Baa.

Awake...and aware
nothing more powerful than smacking the oppressor with the facts...
the TRUTH will set us free before the oppressor can find his keys
