Sunsets Come All Too Soon

This life can weigh you down,

Don’t ever take it to heart.

Never let it make you frown,

And turn all challenges to art.

When you are lost in the rat race,

And filled to brim with pressure.

Don’t feel upside down and out of place,

Like in that painting by Escher

Know that you have a purpose and reason,

Why you go through all that you do.

There will be a time and a season,

When it becomes crystal clear to you.

Just keep doing and trying,

While being the best that you can be.

No use in wailing and crying,

Walk forward in mirth and glee.

Enjoy each and every sunrise,

As you relish in the starlight and moon.

Take in every coming surprise,

As sun sets come all too soon.
