Body and Soul

I wrote this for Jaz's contest that I hope to win though I might not but still I will enter cause I NEVER BACK DOWN FROM A CHALLENGE! MWAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHA sorry, I have too much sugar...why am I still writing?

For many years they’ve been apart,

The logical brain and the emotional heart,

For too long one lived without the other,

Each forsaking the one they ought to call brother,

For balance must exist between the two,

And chaos cannot be found true,

In the space between their land,

For peace and love go hand in hand,

Just like the body and soul,

The mind and heart with one goal,

For teamwork is vital I believe,

And with it they will be able to achieve,

A victory over the darkness,

That no one will ever witness,

For this can only happen when they see,

That together they are truly meant to be,

And it’s the only way to stay alive,

so for this balance they must strive.

hope its good and hopefully I'll another contest.....sorry still have too much sugar...gotta stop drinking soda....but I can quit.....I not A QUITER!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

First off...you have a major sugar problem...go get some help ( AA is for Quitters!!!!!!) Second, you guys have problems....major problems! But over all this poem is better than some of the other ones that I've read
You did capture the essence of your cliche and idiom...so its under serious consideration! (AA is for Quitters)
