Lingering

Lingering

A Poem by JE Falcon
"

A possible reason some do not rise to the top.

"

I am put upon

drained

up in the Willow's highest branches

So I linger in the shadows of it's Canopy.

However

I shall never render blame

upon the tree in all it's glory.

For you see it's not the tree?

It's just me.

Insightful, this one. Too many are too quick to blame externals for their problems, but causation often begins within.
