Animals 5-7-5

Animals 5-7-5

A Poem by JE Falcon
"

Haiku, I believe, some Senryu, maybe.

"

Scrub-Jays like peanuts.

Unsalted and in the shell

is of my choosing. *** JEF

A perplexing fact:

With many places to nap

Kitty picks my chair. *** JEF

On a summer's porch

the dog sleeps and dreams.

Of what I wonder? *** JEF

The String of horses,

dancing across the grassland,

finds the setting sun. *** JEF

Goats on the doghouse

jumping up then jumping down.

Dog left hours ago. *** JEF

I would have too, if I were that dog.
