What IfA Poem by JE FalconJust rhyming for the silliness of it. Or it's a kid's song. What if strange was normal and normal was not would sameness be different than the sameness we got? And if we were lighthearted would we suddenly be dark? All draped in black clothing, and ever so stark.
If the moon was the sun and the sun was the moon would we be up at midnight and be sleeping at noon? And if water was earth and earth was water what in the world would become of the otter?
And how about those creatures, all those things in the sea. Where would they live? Not with you or me! And what about plants, the grasses and such? I am afraid what survived wouldn't be much.
So let's not go there. Let's stay where we are. Let the truck remain a truck And the car, a car. Let the light remain light and keep the dark in the dark, keep the street just a street and never a park.
The way things are seems to work for the best so I doubt if we should put stuff to the test. So I withdraw the question of normal and strange and I'll just hop on my Lama for a ride on the range.
