The Moon

The day has passed

Tonight the moon shone so bright like it never had before

She gazed outside of her window at the night sky

She thought

The moon is really beautiful tonight

Suddenly

Memories of his eyes looking down on her

Is it possible?

No, it can't be, it's not

A guy so handsome, talented and charming would never fall for dying flower such as herself

He's defiantly looking at someone else.. someone who's even prettier, more captivating and smarter.. 

A girl who is not her

She's feeling highly disappointed of unrequited feelings

She then laid on the bed

Closed her eyes with one tear dropping down

And whispered under her breath..

I hope

Despite of the odds

someday

I will be the one

Who you will think who will be perfect for you..

This is so beautifully sad. I feel like crying that they both believe that the other is better than themselves and if only they could see each other through one anthers eyes. This story you have created is sadly true for one too many people and a story like this can hopefully show the world that we are all our own worst critics.

Exactly, you're right we are our own critics and sometimes our own enemy, we have to fight our own demons and triumph and believe in our selves, sometimes we never give our selves enough credit, but i believe that every person can achieve anything as long as their heart truly desires it, sometimes we have to think out side of the box and by box i mean our mind and start listening to what the heart says and wants, because maybe we can find what were looking for all this time.
