Ski Socks

Ski Socks

A Poem by JohnL
"

For Salvatore's contest

"

Ski socks
Wrap my feet warmly
As I twist and twirl, slide and CRASH!
Don’t need socks
Lying warm in a hospital,
Head bound, arm slung, feet newly
Plastered.

No, well I guess you wouldn't need socks with plastered legs. LOL.
I hope this was a "muse" write, and not reality!
Thanks for entering this amusing and different "cameo" to Sal's contest.

Something so simple as socks and yet we take them for granted. Thank you for the delightful piece. You avoided the obviously inference to stench of which I am grateful.

Ouch. I broke my foot once when I was in elementary school. Fell from a tree after I kicked a ball up there. Day before Halloween too, was a drag but not nearly as bad as the accident depicted here. This brought back that memory for me.

HILARIOUS although such a sad ending! Short, sweet and delicious.

Thank you so much for sharing
