Forever.

A love poem

Forever, I whisper,

Into your ear,

I'll love you forever,

Forever, my dear.

Forever,

Forever, the promise of us

I promise you forever

Last forever, we must

 

Forever,

Forever, the lie of so many

I cannot lie to you, 

For I cannot think of any

Forever,

Forever, meaning without pause

No breaks in our love,

Forever, without heartbreak of any cause

Forever, 

Forever, I promise you forever,

Even though promises are so rarely kept

Forever, Forever, I'll love you, forever

Far longer then the time when God slept.

Author's Note

The last line "far longer then the time when god slept" means that my love will last longer then the eternity before God created humans.
