WHO AM I ?

WHO AM I ?

A Poem by Jvl narasimharao

I am  a man by gender

And a teacher by profession

A kapu by community

A Hindu by faith and custom

An Andhraite in Andhrapradesh

An Indian in India

An Asian in Asia

a human being in the world

son to my mother

Father to my daughters

Husband to my wife

The list goes on in my journey of life

But who am I?

My parents named me Narasimha Rao

Different people call me differently

Does the soul really exist?

I am a theist

Do I finally reach God or Jesus Christ?

Very profound writing. Very factual and straight forward. I like that. Thanks for sharing your writing.

A profound glimpse inside your life... your personal experience... your days of existence here... Yet, you also provoke thought on each of us... what we believe and live and share in the days we have been given... Amazing write.

Ah, my friend, the great mystery of life? I have searched thoughout my whole life trying to find the answer to that one. One of my last poems I wrote was called "I Just Am!" and that about sums it up to what I have discovered thus far. But my journey goes on and as I seemingly get to closer to "God" the more the mystery remains.

But one thing I have discovered that "poetry" is right up there in' the ladder to the star's and poets are very fortunate people indeed to see glimpes of His Divine Light.

Wonderful poem, thank you for sharing.

You are a beautiful soul, and you have already reached God.

So many questions that we must live and do to find the answers. Knowing God is hope and faith. We will find out in death is our God kind and loving? Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
