MOTHERLY AFFECTION

Mother is the holiest person on earth
She gives all of us our birth
We need not worship her like a presiding -deity
But we have to look after her with some piety

When we were kids, she cleaned our clothes
And worked a lot about our good looks
She put away our scattered books
When she was angry , beat with sticks

She would cleanse our excretion
And looked at us with great admiration
How can we repay her debt?
Motherly affection is a rare craft
Her words are most times so soft
It is impossible to show it in a draft

Mother is so superior to our father
She follows us in our life journey very farther
If we respect and love her
God gives us many a favour

Being a mother is not easy. We are not perfect people, motherhood doesn't come with a manual, we learn as we go. But once we get the hang of it, we give it our all and we do ut with all our hearts. I'm a mother of four, trust me I know.
