WAITING

WAITING

A Poem by Jvl narasimharao

The day waits for the glorious sun

Like the night for the pleasant Moon

In hot summer we fervently wait for rain

In the railway station we wait for the train

Waiting seems to be a part of life

Like a husband waits for his dear wife

On this site we wait for our friends’ poetry

And try to understand their poetic chemistry

Waiting is a part and parcel of nature

That is the beauty of its wonderful feature

The spring longs patiently for the seasonal cuckoo

The trees daily wait for their sunny view

Waiting may cause us some pain

But the pain eventually gives us the desired gain

Let us all wait for our respective great event

And cherish that  beautiful moment

Aahh, the flux of waiting...it seems to haunt us all from time to time. We wait for the seasons to change, the lights to change, the day to turn to night and back to day again...and this becomes the cycle and flow of our lives. I like the way you end this piece, with the idea that waiting will eventually lead to moments of cherished beauty. Nicely done.

Indeed, waiting is something we all have in common. A universal pasttime. Those who learn to be patient are the wise ones. Can't change some things in life. Very good rhyming in this poem. I liked it. Lydi**

Very good...waiting takes so many forms...the seed waits to flower...the flower waits for the sun...all parts of nature wait on one another...as we wait to find purpose...

Waiting is one thing most of us just do not want to do..not for anything be it necessary or not for our life..Coming to a "Y" in the road..we often turn WRONG instead of RIGHT..Valentine

Yes in the world of instant gratification waiting seems lost . Yet sometimes the waiting makes the fruit taste so much better. Good write.
