Winter Sea

Winter Sea

A Poem by JackieYoung
"

I was playing around with homophones and here's what happened.

"

Winter sea,

that frozen giant.

Steel the ice and steal the warmth,

hail reigns before we hail the rain.

World freeze under whirled snow,

raze the heat, raise the cold.

That wide ocean, dammed from above,

damned by frost, chilled to sleep.

Winter, see

that frozen giant.
