Tell Me A Secret

Tell Me A Secret

A Poem by Jacky Bones

Id dragmy worthless corpse

A thousand miles

Thru broken glass

Just to hear you laugh

Thru a radio

Id lay my bones down low

Just lay here a while

Please stay just a little more

These sun spots

Found Lost loves

And now this ink stained paper

Bleeds out little rained on flowers

These little floweres

   these little floweres

Are dreaming of ghosts

But still hold a lot of hope

Half way between heaven and your sheets

Is where you'll find me

And my wrists are rapped in lace

Tied in endless grace

And I love her

And I cant wait much longer

   cant wait much longer

I chase after

But shes three steps faster

 But she still loves me

     ( dont you know)

The creases in the seam seem more cold

when youre not around

I feel this smile

Fade much like these days

And we planted our hearts

  deep within the ground

We waited patiently by playing the parts

We're singing the same song

But insted we were laughing

Then we started kissing

Now Im running

Thru these streets

Trying to get you that ring

And I love you for everything

Happily happy that you love me

This is good. I've read your writing before, and its always very, very sweet.
The rythme and pattern is also really clever. Again, I enjoyed the whole thing.
"I love you for everything
Happily happy that you love me. "
You're writing isn't overly sweet, because it doesn't paint an angel, it paints a real human as your heroine.

This was sad...but cute. It is cute that you want the girl you love to feel better. Eventually in time her wounds will heal and she won't feel that way....thanks for sharing...
