You can fill me, with that rage
And I'm sorry, that I love you
It wasn't supposed to be this way
But it is and it's not
And I am and I'm not

I want it all, It's all I want
I'm distracted by the summers goodbyes
(I guess that's life)
I guess we're alive

You were an angel or a medic as far as I could see
Does it make a difference either way
I still drift in your eyes
"And drown in your god damn smile lines"
Each night means everything
An I'm just about afraid of anything
I'm still that frightened bird
Fighting to not fade away
With all that water filling my mouth

Wandered through these houses of falling cards
King of Spades an Queen of Hearts

couldn't tear the misery apart
Car crashes and over dramatics
A stand alone minute
Lasts so much longer then I meant
Just make a whisper like a flame
And I heard you say " I love you"
On my free trip to the hospital
