Miss Popularity

Miss Popularity

A Poem by SuicidePact.

I’m the leader of the pack

The wearer of the skirt

Girl who fear me

Girls who want to be me.

I have admirers from a far,

I don’t even know who they are.

They’ll never find the courage,

To tell me that they love me,

They wish they were above me.

People say I’m a dream,

I’m the leader of the school team.

But nobody takes the time,

Don’t want to know what’s on my mind.

Is it worth being the on top?

Worth having no real friends?

I don’t want the perfect picture,

Just want you to see me for who I am.

Is there anybody out there?

Anyone willing to be my friend?

This is dead on. Brilliant even.

Very well written. When I started I thought it would be a perfect poem of happiness but i was pleased when it turned around and talked about the truth of being popular.

Normally, this is kind of a hard subject to write upon, but this is a nice take on it.

a nice take on the typical popular girl

Nice perspective and nobody ever really wants to be around her because she's mean. She's lonly and the minute she falls she'll be replaced, I kinda feel sorry for her, then again I don't. Great write this is very good. :)

A truth. Maybe from an experience.
