What Can I do?

What Can I do?

A Poem by SuicidePact.

What were you thinking?

When you ran away....

Was it something you did?

Were you having a bad day?

How can I help you?

Tell me what to say....

I don’t want to lose you

I want you to stay.

I like how you put the phrases in this one, it really helps to emphasize the the desparity to want to help in this poem. I believe its one we can all relate to as well.

Questions we all strive to find answers to. As an ex-teenage runaway - I know too many reasons why.

I like your chaotic style that you have presented your poem in.

I hear the yearning in this poem, not wanting to lose someone so important to you. You convey your message well.

The structure was mysterious looking, but at the same time, not hard to read. The rhyming scheme worked perfecly, so was the flow. One thing for sure, this poem should not go.

This is a great poem, with an interesting line structure, simplicity of statement, yet powerful in emotion. It also shows the wisdom of not quickly judging someone, but rather, trying to understand their situation or show empathy. At the end you reassure the other person of your own feelings and desire. Well done.
