Drained

This world changes you

It takes everything you are

And renders it in sepia tone

Bringing back black and white

 

It will empty you

You'll get drained from the beggining

It'll try to suck you dry

Like a prince of darkness

 

But you're a fighter

You never call it quits

Headstrong in every way

You'll resist

 

Stuggle against the white wash

Don't bow to the eclipse

Keep swimming hard

In a sea of gray

 

Maybe freedom is that way

Perhaps independence is where you're headed

Hopefully you'll find excitment

Cause then you can save us from being drained
