Solitary

Solitary

A Poem by Jake Staffeld

When you are alone
All your friends have gone
Dissaperance is your act
I'll be there

Violence comes fast
Sometimes there's nothing
You can do
When you're treated
Like a ragdoll

Get thrown aside
Better things for others
Solitude is your reality
I'm always watching

Remember every day
How you used to be
A lover and a fighter
On the Sabbath you fell
Into a personal hell

You might never see
Loved ones again
So say good bye
And fight free
I'll be there

As you lift
With broken arms
Lights go out
Complain to darkness
But never forget
I'm always watching.
