Do this and Do that...

People are always giving opinion...

People and their opinions,
People and their advice,
if you really think about it, much isn't nice,

They will tell you, where to eat, where to sleep, and sometimes
who you should meet,

People, will tell you just about anything,
they'll tell you to do this, or do that,
sometimes it makes for a good laugh, and other time's
it's just downright sad,

I say this, they don't live your life, so why so much darn advice,
have they walked a day in your shoes, to know what you're up to,

Probably not, so if there's something you have been wanting to do, do it,
don't wait till tomorrow, you don't want any regrets or sorrow,

Until these people are paying you're bills, It shouldn't matter where you're
spinning your wheels,
Try enjoying life while it last, it's here for now and then it's past...

Hi James. Again that strong voice of conviction and I just love what you are saying. Advice and criticism, both, should be left on a shelf to gather dust. I believe we must listen to our elders. Old men and women who have lived. They tell you the truth. Dear Grandfather told me "Cash or don't need it." and "Nothing good to say. Say nothing. Words and poor actions will create permanent separation. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry. Made me think this early morning in the USA.
