Shark Week...

Shark Week...

A Poem by Jamestown
"

Big fish & Evil man...

"
Shark Week...

There are big fish that lurk in the vast ocean
and evil men that mimic their movements and characteristics,
upon the earth,

The fish seek and destroy to live and to do their part
in the cycle of life, but the land sharks seek and destroy
because of greed, envy and hate,

The fish is not evil by any means
man cannot say the same,

Sharks of the sea are put in the ocean for several purposes
as are the the land sharks, but in my opinion only one of these
sharks completely understands their purposes and I'm positive
it isn't the sharks that walk the earth,

Ocean sharks kill for the purpose of living themselves
land sharks again cannot say the same,

Sharks of the sea Are Not Evil!
Man is most definitely evil,
so save a shark and pray for man...

nice!! these lands are filled with sharks they smell money like sea sharks smell blood, just always keep an open eye for these land "sharks". kind of feels wrong calling them sharks cause sharks have a purpose, and we're give sharks a derogatory name.

Thanks for checking it out and b-blessed!
yes, fish and mammals kill for survival...the land sharks kill to attain wealth and pleasure...and i don't think they have any idea of purpose...they just eat up other less fortunate fish for sport.

it is really a sad reality...i like how you used this metaphor to show one of society's major flaws.

save a shark and pray for man ... I like that ending

your poem comes after we have had two shark attacks this week near where I live ... one guy is probably won't walk again .. the other much luckier ...

your words of course ring true J ... there are self serving shark-type people everywhere on this planet ... lets hope that they too can learn and evolve back into kindness for humanities sake

Nice one my friend X

Thanks for checking it out and your kind review, b-blessed!
Very interesting way of looking at humanity. I agree, land sharks are evil in many instances. I have come to realize people are not innately kind-hearted. Very sad to realize, but forewarned is forearmed. Well written, James. Lydi**

great contrast of the types of sharks in our world, my friend... sometimes it is better to swim with those in the ocean than to mingle with those on land... well-done!
