You... Undiscovered

You... Undiscovered

A Chapter by My Fair Lady

Stand with me on your

Isolated white beaches

Take me to the hidden places

Within your heart that are unmapped

Let me look within your soul

To see your unappreciated gifts

Let me undo the ribbons of

Your brightly colored presents.. still wrapped

Give to me your back country

Your wilderness and unworn paths

Where only the rarest foliage grows

Wild and untouched by another

Whisper to me the words

That have never before passed your lips

Love me in a way

You’ve never held another lover

Picnic with me near your reflective

Mountain lake

Let your heart bask in

My gentle care

Lay yourself

upon my handmade quilts

Comfortable and peaceful

A lifetime of love to share

Sail me on your

Uncharted wild waters

Take me to the deepest places

Within the ocean of your heart

I am not one to dwell

With that which you have already known

I want you unmasked, untamed

I want the undiscovered part

Let me be the one you think of

In the light of day, your darkest hour

The one who sees through

Your guarded walls with no resistance

I don’t want to be just another lover

Or walk where others have been

Let me explore the undiscovered

Give to me truth of your existence

Kind and sweet words took me on a good journey. True love take time and a lot of give and take. Few times in a life will we open the door to our heart and allow someone to look in. I like the complete poem. A perfect ending to a excellent poem.

sharing the inner most sanctum of ourselves takes trust and honesty and love..to be given this is truly a wonderous moment..enchanting as you likened the soul to the natural world..divine words..
