Thunder storm

Thunder storm

A Poem by JanieB

Thunder storm

The rain dances off the streets

Cats run and hide under cars

Women rush to collect in their washing

Children jump in the puddles and laugh

Thunder bangs so loudly

Dogs shake with fear

Women shut all the windows

Children scream out loud

Lightning strikes through the air

Animals scurry for cover

Women screech in high tones

Children hide under the covers

A thunder storm approaches…

Wow, I love the imagery of this piece. Reminds me of when I myself was a child.

oh wonderful, intensed picture of beginning of a storm! I loved the increasing dramatic moments and how fast women do their jobs before to hide in safe inside home...I love storms, even I`m a bit afraid :)
