∼ Resketching My Desire ∼

∼ Resketching My Desire ∼

A Poem by S Jack JA

- Windowpane Sketching -

Through the windowpane, I sketch my desire

The room aglow with dreams like fire

Yet snow whispered in the winter breeze

And all my hopes began to freeze

Crystal dreams now shattered, glisten in the sun

A melancholic tale of what’s done is done

In the silence, echoes of what used to be

Remnants of moments lost, haunting me

Shadows dance upon the abandoned floor

Aching hearts yearning for something more

The glass holds reflections of dreams long gone by

A symphony of regret beneath a forlorn sky

I keep on resketching my desire on the windowpane
