To Seize The Day?

Some say you must live through Carpe Diem

But what if that’s not necessary

Is life all about going out to take risks

Or is it centered around smaller things

Such as enjoying life for what it is

Hearing a small child’s laugh and just listening to their joy

Watching the elderly and wondering what their stories are

Does it have to be about taking those “bold” risks

Or can it be simple, easy things

Do we need to seize the day or can we let it come to us like an old friend?
