A Poem by Johnny A. Rojas

Thoughts on loosing your grip and letting go

These are the writings of a tormented soul
A life has been dying since the day he got lost
Gained the world but lost it's soul
He was less careful when he took the jump
No faith in this world can safe him now
Error in his judgement has been noted
A doomsday procession he will be leading
So now the tears run down his face
But the wicked have gathered to praise his name.

A flower that turned black
A love that passed him by
He is afraid of his own shadow
As he sees the sky turning black
He feels the monster climbing on his back.

No more words to repent from
Just a feeling of loosing control
Two times three now he has gone
To make his mark on this land
He gained the world but lost his soul
No more words from this tormented soul
