God's Vanity

God's Vanity

A Poem by J.R Schlievert

Just blah

The damned to be the choice few

is to be famished by the due

process that is the wake of humanity.

The vanity that God creates causes stalemate.

The soulmate of an unborn love can die while it solidifies.

We continue to walk down this vanity, strut down towards tragedy.

As we create our memories through the tragedy of our insanity.

The love of chaos that God implements upon us.

Is a trap that maps the vanity and its majesty.

Control is the piece of paper that unfolds before us.

Do we stand hand by hand with an old piece of paper?

Or do we utilize our unsolidified insanity to navigate through the vanity?

The choice is ours to make our tumbler

God has one sick sense of humor
