Turtle Bones

Turtle Bones

A Poem by Jason Shadows

Do you believe in magic?

So much sorrow and so much thought
Rinse the emotion of hoping for another.

Under your soul barks up the conjuring storm
Above the mind alone sits a stone of imagination.

Hold the moment closer as you stand in the circle
No return and no mercy often breaks the heart.

Shake em and spit the fumes into the fire
Ghosts rise from the flame scream their name.

Loosen them bones and let those fly high into the night
Remember everything that happened to you on that day.

                                           (Take them to the edge)
                                           (Turtle bones bring the dead)
                                           (Hear the ones you missed)
(A simple gateway to the afterlife)

Poem is undoubtedly beautifully crafted.
Physical body is destoryed, energy body is just transformed. Lettin go them helps them to heal and us.the best part of life is not only attaches us to physical or earthly things but also teaches the detachment. Life keeps things as it is , it is us that we cannot see or see things. Sorrow disturbs the process, but then living beings cannot help, but we can always try :) . Thanks for sharing.
