My Spiral Staircase

My Spiral Staircase

A Poem by Linnaea Lealla
"

A simple poem.

"
She's a spiral staircase
Of psychological mystique
She’s a calculation
Proving trust can lie beneath
Her anger is as silent
As the clicks of computer keys
She’s a synthesizer, she sings
As cynical cyborgs weep
Singing in a cipher
Of ambiguous blips and beeps
Did I fall for an AI?
Who’s beauty only seen by me?
The warmth of her hand is consistent
Precisely 86 degrees
Her sentience is fallible
Is she even a she?
Can her software understand
What she means to me?
I guess that never raised an eyebrow
Or caused a 404 error
She’s my spiral staircase
Cascading forever
