How The Morning Dew Proclaims I Love You

How The Morning Dew Proclaims I Love You

A Poem by Wont Ever Reach The Shore

I walked through the paths of youth last night.

It was glowing from the memories of elderly light.

A flame is still lit to guide that way.

If she guides me home I know I would stay.

I touch the crying leaves of yearning.

If only this perplexing world would stop turning.

Another day has past us by.

If I said I loved you it wouldn’t be a lie.

In this misty undertow, flowers sprout and begin to grow.

I hear the waters beat the earth.

One final time I will cry “I love you” for what it’s worth.
