The Clock

The Clock

A Poem by Jayden H.

Its hands must move along without delay

Spinning round and round without falter

Doing its job both night and day

“Tick, tock”, is all it can say

Because it has no time for idle chatter

Its hands must move along without delay

Neither fatigue nor weariness can sway

The duty that is forever...

Doing its job both night and day

Without recognition, without any play

Yet it doesn't become any harder

Its hands must move along without delay

Within it, nobility is on display

Sacrifice is essential to its character

Doing its job both night and day

“Tick, tock”, I hear it say

Humming along in a murmur

Its hands must move along without delay

Doing its job both night and day

We cannot imagine our lives without clock! A clock too has characters and emotions to describe, I came to know now. Soo creative. Awesome 👍😊
