Fallen Angel

Fallen Angel

A Chapter by Jason

The blood so thin ran from his heart.
He tried to hold the gates as the enemy sat on the other side.
He sang loudly trying to raise his spirits, but not even song could save him.
He trusted her to bare the secret, not to tell a word.
But she betrayed him, she sold out their love.
His legs grew weaker and the gates half gone, he dug in his heels and sang another song.
Would this be the end, a hero so strong but weakened by lust.
His people now slain, blood coated streets were children once played.
He tried to save the rest, they left three days past. His men, oh his men, lay betrayed by his weakness. He called out now to his dragon. This being his only friend. The beast drew near but not soon enough, the gates were gone now, the hero had lost.
The dragon went on to spread the word, the hero has fallen, and they cut out his heart.
The streets grew deem and the cries fell silent. We are all weeping said the lady, for this, is the end.

I really liked this it spoke to me.
I read into like in bwteen the lines
That the truth shall set you free in the end.

When you walk away or stray for that matter
Nothing can be the same as it was. Sometmes
You can't always get what you want. The end
it's just too late.

I really like this and found some truth in it.
This is wonderful and thought out well.
