Dialysis

Dialysis

A Poem by Just Jayren

Wondering if there’s any point in my body still breathing

Wondering if there’s any point of my name being muttered

Wondering if there’s any point as to why I still stand

I’m waiting for something I don’t actually believe in

I’m watching everything in peripheral vision trying to

figure out my own mass produced questions

I doubt will ever have meaning

I’m sorry for being a useless human being

I’m sorry for wasting the time I had, have and will posses

I’m sorry for looking at a face that’s seen better days whenever I

see my own reflection

I’m sorry for being me

Wow, this poem seems riddled with dejection. So sad and seemingly at the point of giving up. To me, it speaks grief and defeat. This is a deep read.

Dear Jayren,

I've wondered this too and found that it is faith that secures the reason to keep going for in faith does one does not walk by sight, but by the belief that there's still a purpose, still a plan, that someone has not given up on us, that sees us as something loved and treasured. Its against these kinds of thoughts that I raise the shield of saving faith that keeps me going when I am doubting like this poem. Very interesting write.

Thank you very much for sharing!

Sincerely Livana Lowell (LL)

God bless

I like it. You make me think here...for me, this poem says that this person feels too much self pity. I can understand one having these feelings...I have had them. It can be frustrating to feel useless, I have a condition that has taken so much from me over the past year. It's quite painful but, to get over the "sorries" you have to see that you are still you, no matter what. Keep breathing, keep living and be thankful for what you do have :) Well penned, thank you for sharing. Keep writing! :)

A very good poem. I like the way it can make me think about life and reasons for the things I do. The poem open the door to thoughts and questions. Thank you for the excellent poem.

Hmm. Perhaps I'm just rather harsh or critical of people - but how this speaks to myself is to feel that the person is being a little pathetic. You'd never need to apologise for being a person. People should focus less on being sad and more on being awesome! :P I'm a mass helper of people who actually have problems - but some people just can't be helped. (This makes me sound so cold >.

This is really, really depressing. While we may all feel this worthless at points in life, it is important to not let it control us. Thank you for sharing :)

This is very emotional, depressing, frustration and desperation flows in it.
Like you're sorry for being yourself, like you want to change, have someone to help.
I didn't expect this title, but nevermind. All in all, this is wonderful!
Thanks for sharing..Keep it up buddy :D
