Sweet Deity of the Devil

Sweet Deity of the Devil

A Poem by Jazmen
"

Writing about the ways of love, and the tangible connections that break.

"

I hang wildly

Refuge, please keep pressing on..

His love faded before the break of dawn

But my nature loves deeply

And leaves no one behind.

Even as pretentious

Passion became unhinged

Fugacious and half-heartedly there was a bid farewell

And no sentiments unfurled.

Intuition never shakes her finger

At a genuine common ground

And it takes a devil

To shine on the wildness of

A devil’s sweet deity

Though untamed

My nature loves deeply

And will never leave one behind.

It is rare that one finds a writer with such magniloquence. This enchanting poem transcends definition and in turn, defines poetry itself! I am reminded of Esther Morgan when reading this (and if you are unfamiliar with her,I assure you it's high praise).
