"Timeless Fantasy"

"Timeless Fantasy"

A Poem by Jeanne Broome
"

Written in my hippie days...1970's and stored away.. looking for a critque

"

  "TIMELESS FANTASY"

Sunlight fading from Hilltop high..

Rolling fields of swaying grass...tall and soft

A sweeping breeze soothing each blade..

Letting the daisies dainty beauty protrude

Giving a calming majesty to my soul..

Drifting freely over the scene

A free spirit...rejoicing at the beauty

Meeting another spirit...just as free

To behold the loveliness together

Feeling the karma between us

Without an utterance

We are love fullfilled....we are One

In a Timeless Fantasy

I can see her in a long dress of gauze, sandals, long straight hair and a flower behind her ear. Him in jeans and a tie dye tee. Nice write, brought back memories.

I think it's lovely. The word "karma" is about the only indicator of it coming from the hippie days. It's as beautiful now and as applicable as it was then.
