We Are the Bridge in This Eternal Symphony

We Are the Bridge in This Eternal Symphony

A Poem by JediMobius

Reach out on that balance beam of light
will travel
farther than you could make it
in three hundred million meters.
Time stops
sixteen billion miles a day
contained in turning hands of crystal faces.

A thousand light years at eleven million miles a minute
makes for short trips
across the universe
at the speed of God.
All we have to do
is get across a nearby branch,
energy to energy,
mind to mind,
soul to soul,
with God to guide us over thresholds.

Einstein couldn’t comprehend,
we can make it over gaps of thought
with just a tiny bend of the bough,
but we won’t break.
This isn’t some lullaby
of morbid mortality.
You aren’t your body, you’re just in it
until your soul can be awakened to its full
potential state
on the day of finality,
where we will catch a greater glimpse
of existence
closer to the way
God goes through his day.

Time is but a tool,
minuscule and ever bending.
Relativity is sending different measures
from each body of celestial array.
We’ll all be stars that day,
by the force that gently guides
from chaos to splendor
timed together in brilliant symphony.
