Sonnet 23

Sonnet 23

A Poem by Jeff Miller

My dear Sarah, words can't describe my love

There is no comparison that is just,

Like how flawless you are, like a white dove,

I can't describe my live, but try I must.

I see permanence in your hazel eyes,

I see a woman with beauty and brains

I see a young, fair lady who is wise,

A woman who can overcome all pain;

But, I still want to be your protector

I want to be your shining light at night,

Who protects the soure of the God's nectar,

Who removes every reason of fright.

  My Sarah, I shall protect you from hell,

  Until you hear the ringing of my knell.
